New Yorker cover brings back 5 U.S. presidents
Trump candidacy questioned
In a feat of time travel not seen since Marty McFly went Back to the Future over 30 years ago, the New
Yorker magazine brought back five former American presidents for its February 1
cover.
The former presidents, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln,
Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy appear on the
magazine’s cover looking completely horrified as current Republican presidential candidate and front-runner, Donald J. Trump, makes a televised campaign speech.
Fully embracing their current 21st century presence,
the five former presidents, who had just established their own individual
Twitter accounts, used the social media site to simultaneously tweet, "#OMG! Need to stop @realdonaldtrump. #WTF!”
